Together with the team I’m responsible for all reservations at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam-South. We manage individual reservations and also groups and events reservations for the hotel. During the day we take care of all reservation requests for our restaurant Happyhappyjoyjoy Zuidas and the Manhattan Lounge Bar.

Next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Amsterdam we also manage all individual reservation for the IHG hotels Voco The Hague and Holiday Inn-Voorburg.

It’s really exciting to work for 3 properties. It’s a great position to develop my skills.

I love to interact with guests and make them excited about their upcoming stay with us.

I also take a lot of pleasure seeing my team grow and develop.

My sense of humor

Beside that, I take the time to train people so they can become independent in their job. I like to give people responsibilities.

I believe people should always have the courage to take initiatives and share their vision with me. Especially if it helps create win-win situations where both the hotel and the guest benefit. Employer satisfaction and Guest service is our highest priority.

Good food is where I feel at home.  

Italy will always have a special place in my heart: I love the food there but also the atmosphere, the culture, the architecture, everything!

Closer to home, I just love to walk around the local market, being inspired by seasonal fresh products to create a great dish at home.
